Where we direct our commitment

We work alongside different organisations, standing by their side with the aim of extending social solidarity into a shared and participatory system of resources, means and ideas.

We have taken on the role of secretariat for foundations that have chosen to use our structure, to define and shape their own activities and allocate their resources.

The value of thinking and working in synergy is fundamental to us. We cannot work alone if we wish to contribute to the full development of foundations and all their partners.

Participatory communities play a fundamental role in critical and peripheral areas, both in Italy and abroad. With this in mind, in 2020 we launched Periferiacapitale, the first community programme dedicated to Rome.

Its mission is to make local areas more inclusive and supportive by harnessing the social energy of the city's neighbourhoods.

The Foundation forges alliances with public, private and religious bodies, research institutions, associations and all those who care about Rome and its communities.

International solidarity, nurtured over the years also through partnerships with other foundations, offers us the opportunity to extend our action across the world.

We do not believe it is possible to limit our work to Italy: the international dimension is essential to keep our perspective broad, to continue questioning ourselves and to reach out to others.

We are committed to enhancing local resources and relationships in a spirit of reciprocity, reaching the most remote communities.
