Identity and mission

The Charlemagne Foundation supports communities, organizations and territories that promote dignity, social justice and change, in Italy and around the world. Its commitment is to accompany them in becoming autonomous, strong and free to build their own future.

We act in three areas — philanthropic synergies, community pathways, international solidarity — to transform shared visions into concrete actions.

We believe in the strength of communities and people: we listen to their stories, create connections and build alliances between civil society, institutions, philanthropic bodies and the third sector.
