Working in synergy allows us to achieve meaningful results.
The Charlemagne Foundation has served as the Secretariat of the Haiku Lugano Foundation since its establishment. By virtue of this ongoing collaboration, the Secretariat manages relations with the Foundation's organizations and stakeholders, evaluates projects, prepares dossiers for the Haiku Lugano Foundation Board and monitors projects approved by the Board. Thanks to this important strategic collaboration, over 250 projects have been supported since 2015.
Since 2003, the Charlemagne Foundation has collaborated with the Fondation Assistance Internationale (FAI) of Lugano in the field of international solidarity. From 2014, Charlemagne was appointed as the FAI Secretariat, responsible for promoting, preparing and monitoring projects. From 2022, following the establishment of an internal FAI Secretariat, the collaboration continued with Charlemagne retaining the ability to submit certain international solidarity projects to the FAI, overseeing their evaluation and monitoring. Thanks to this important synergy, over 380 projects have been funded across 71 countries.
